Varsity Boys Head Basketball Coach

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Varsity Boys Basketball program, fostering a culture of teamwork, sportsmanship, and Christ-like character.
• Oversee the development of players from 7th to 12th grade, ensuring a consistent and progressive program across all levels.
• Implement effective practice plans, game strategies, and player development programs that maximize individual and team potential.
• Manage all aspects of the Varsity team, including scheduling, equipment, and communication with players and parents.
• Actively mentor and disciple student-athletes, integrating Christian values into the basketball program.
• Build strong, positive relationships with players, fostering a supportive and encouraging environment.
• Serve as a positive role model, demonstrating integrity and a commitment to personal growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 3–5 years of proven high school or collegiate coaching experience.
• Proven track record of developing players and maximizing talent.
• Strong understanding of basketball fundamentals, strategies, and techniques.
• Ability to effectively communicate and motivate players.
• College degree preferred.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school administration.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
