Varsity Boys Tennis Coach

The varsity coach is responsible for all aspects of coaching a high-level tennis program while adhering to rules and guidelines set forth by the school, Dual County League and MIAA. Successful candidates will have the ability to oversee the entire Boys Tennis program, working with sub varsity coaches and athletes to develop a cohesive and competitive program.

Expectations:

• Teaching the L-S Athletics Curriculum.
• Must be able to take the MIAA Coaching Course.
• Ability to drive the school van to away games.
• Ability to work with high school population.
• Understanding of high school sports operations.
• Work well with high school students, parents and other coaches.
• Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Understands the importance of fun in high school athletics.
• Be prepared, punctual and ethical.

Experience Preferred:

• Experience coaching tennis.
• Experience playing tennis at the high school level or higher.
