Varsity Football Coach ’23-24

Archbishop Curley High School invites applications for the position of Head Varsity Football coach for the 2023-24 academic year. Located in Baltimore, Archbishop Curley High School is a Roman Catholic college preparatory school rooted in the Franciscan tradition and dedicated to the development of the Curley Man who is challenged to reach his maximum academic and personal potential leading him to be a man of faith, character, discipline, and service to others.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct all aspects of our Football Program.
• Work directly with our admissions team to identify and attract quality student-athletes who embody the school’s mission in the classroom, our community, and on the football field.
• Oversee and assist in hiring all assistant and under squad coaches, scheduling, managing field and fitness center usage, budget and ordering, equipment and uniforms, travel arrangements, etc.
• Work closely with Principal, Athletic Director, and faculty to promote the school’s mission.

Qualifications:

• Prior coaching experience in a competitive football setting at the high school or collegiate level.
• Ability to clearly articulate and demonstrate a vision for the football program based off of a philosophical approach and a proven record of prior successful implementation.
• A commitment to the development of well-rounded, spiritual young men in accordance with Curley’s mission and our Franciscan approach.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• A comprehensive and dynamic approach to recruiting and preparing student athletes for the college search process.
