Varsity Football Head Coach

Mill River Union High School is seeking a qualified Head Varsity Football Coach to lead our football program. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about coaching and committed to the development of student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate a clear vision for the football program to athletes and parents.
• Organize and develop the entire football program in collaboration with the Athletic Director (AD), including hiring assistant and sub-varsity coaches.
• Oversee the development of all levels of the program and represent MRU within the community.
• Design and implement daily practices that foster skill development and teamwork.
• Prepare for varsity games, ensuring players are ready and equipped for success.
• Select rosters for both varsity and junior varsity teams.
• Advise players on off-season training and skill development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Experience coaching high school football.
• Strong ability to represent MRU positively in the school community, local press, and football community.
