Varsity Head Girls Track & Field Coach

The Varsity Girls Track & Field Head Coach will be responsible for leading and developing a competitive track program that instills discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship in all student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective coaching strategies to enhance the performance and skill development of all student-athletes.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes academic achievement, personal growth, community involvement, and sportsmanship.
• Collaborate with the athletic department, school administration, assistant coach(s) and parents to create a supportive and engaging environment for the softball program.
• Coordinate and execute offseason training programs to enhance players' physical conditioning, safety, and overall performance.
• Demonstrate a commitment to the academic success and character development of student-athletes.
• Promoting student-athletes, growing the program, and building the program for the future.
• Help manage the track program at all levels, youth, middle and high school.

Qualifications:

• Teaching certification preferred.
• Coaching experience at the high school level or beyond.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of track & field strategies, techniques, and safety protocols.
• Ability to positively influence and mentor all student-athletes.
