Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach

North Park University, a member of the nationally recognized College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, would like to announce that applications are now being accepted for the full-time position of Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists the head coach in the coordination of administrative areas of program management including, but not limited to, scheduling of games and practices, travel plans, and equipment oversight.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and the campus community.
• Assist with all phases of competitive NCAA and CCIW compliant recruiting.
• Ensure a commitment to the academic success of basketball student-athletes, including monitoring academic performance, attendance, and social behavior.
• Co-direct all camp offerings, including planning, advertising, organization, and instruction.
• Develop and implement an on-going professional development plan as it relates to coaching in general, recruiting, and any assigned specialty area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Applicants must be able to work an untraditional work schedule (i.e. frequent nights and weekends).
• A personal commitment to North Park’s mission of Christian higher education.
• Coaching experience and extensive knowledge of the sport of basketball at the intercollegiate level are required.
• Experience working with Synergy and Hudl preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
