Women’s Club Lacrosse Coach

The University of Denver is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to serve as the Women's Club Lacrosse Coach.

Essential Functions:

• Develop and implement effective training programs, practice sessions, and game strategies specific to the assigned club sport.
• Provide skill instruction, guidance, and constructive feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that promotes the personal and athletic development of student-athletes.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss team goals, expectations, and upcoming events.
• Coordinate practice schedules, facility reservations, and game schedules in collaboration with the club sports office and executive board.
• Ensure compliance with University policies, rules, and regulations related to club sports.

Qualifications:

• Coaching experience in the specific club sport or a closely related sport.
• Knowledge of coaching techniques, strategies, and rules for the specific club sport.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of student-athletes, coaches, and University staff.
• Familiarity with University club sports programs and the unique challenges and opportunities they present.
