Women’s Lacrosse Assistant Coach

The University of Michigan Athletic Department is seeking an Assistant Coach for it's Division 1 Women's Lacrosse program. This position is responsible for assisting in all phases of the program in accordance with NCAA, Conference and University rules, regulations and policies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to coaching, evaluating and recruiting prospective student-athletes.

What You'll Do:

• Recruitment of future student athletes including travel to various recruiting tournaments, and on-campus hosting.
• Collaborating with Head Coach and assistant coaches on game plans.
• Individual player skill development both on field and by film.
• Film breakdown of practice and games.
• Formulate scouting reports on opponents.
• Responsible for various day to day office tasks as directed by Head Coach.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Previous collegiate coaching and/or playing experience at the Division I level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent computer and social media skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with prospective and enrolled student-athletes.
• Collaborate effectively with athletic department team members, university administration, and media.
