Description
Primary responsibilities are to assist in the administration and coaching of the women’s soccer program, which encompasses approximately 28 female student athletes. Duties include but are not limited to; coaching at practice and game competition, recruitment of prospective student athletes on and off the Boston College campus, completion of all game day preparation needs, including scouting reports, video analysis of Boston College women’s soccer team and the opposition pre and post match, and managing all facets of camps and clinics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, master's preferred. Current CPR certification.
- 3-5 years successful coaching experience, preferably at the college level.
- Expertise in technical aspect of sport
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively with college student-athletes, athletic staff, College and community personnel, and alumni.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules.
- Proficient computer knowledge including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, and power point), and File Maker Pro.
