Description
The women's volleyball assistant coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in teaching skills, techniques, and recruiting for the College of Coastal Georgia women's volleyball program. This is a part time 12 month coaching position.
Responsibilities:
- Assists the head coach with all aspects of leading the team including training, competing, scouting, scheduling, and recruiting.
- Provides instruction to volleyball student-athletes on the fundamentals, details, and strategies of volleyball as assigned by the volleyball head coach.
- Assists the volleyball head coach in scouting and developing practices and game strategies.
- Complies with all rules and regulations set forth for the team, the College, The Sun Conference, and the NAIA.
- Completes assigned administrative duties in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug testing.
- Experience in coaching women's volleyball team at the high school, club, intercollegiate, international or professional level.
