Women’s Volleyball Assistant Coach

The women's volleyball assistant coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in teaching skills, techniques, and recruiting for the College of Coastal Georgia women's volleyball program. This is a part time 12 month coaching position.

Responsibilities:

• Assists the head coach with all aspects of leading the team including training, competing, scouting, scheduling, and recruiting.
• Provides instruction to volleyball student-athletes on the fundamentals, details, and strategies of volleyball as assigned by the volleyball head coach.
• Assists the volleyball head coach in scouting and developing practices and game strategies.
• Complies with all rules and regulations set forth for the team, the College, The Sun Conference, and the NAIA.
• Completes assigned administrative duties in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug testing.
• Experience in coaching women's volleyball team at the high school, club, intercollegiate, international or professional level.
