Wrestling Coach – Middle School

Carpentersville Middle School is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Wrestling Coach with a strong knowledge of wrestling and a focus on student-athletic achievement. Must be able to coach at all levels within the program, able to coach various areas within the program, organized, flexible, able to take direction from the direct supervisor, and able to work with parents and the Booster Club.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous wrestling coaching experience is preferred.
• Must be able to manage all levels within the program, able to manage various areas within the program, organized, flexible, able to take direction from their direct supervisor, and able to work and communicate with parents and the Booster Club.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Previous wrestling coaching experience is preferred. Must be able to manage all levels within the program, able to manage various areas within the program, organized, flexible, able to take direction from their direct supervisor, and able to work and communicate with parents and the Booster Club.
• Enhance, improve, and maximize students’ athletic skills required to compete at a high level.
• Lead an athletic program for sustained participation and success.
• Works with Athletic Department to assure all games, officials, and transportation is scheduled.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment for the entire program.
• Organizes and oversees all program levels and areas of responsibility.
• Communicates with Athletic Director to secure facilities to ensure a safe practice/competition environment for students.
• Sets the philosophy, programmatic instruction of sequential fundamentals, and proper conditioning to maximize the student-athlete experience.
• Communicates and plan with their assistant coach practice sessions and competition strategies to ensure the health and physical well-being of the student participants.
