Youth Basketball Coach

As a Youth Basketball Coach at Team Esface, you'll have the opportunity to directly influence young athletes' development, combining your basketball knowledge with mentorship to create transformative experiences. You'll work alongside dedicated professionals who share your passion for the game and commitment to youth development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute engaging practices through detailed practice planning and implementation.
• Coach games with a focus on player development and team success.
• Build meaningful relationships with players to support their individual growth.
• Collaborate effectively with assistant coaches to optimize practice and game experiences.
• Maintain open communication with team managers regarding player development and parent feedback.
• Create a positive, encouraging environment that promotes both athletic and personal growth.
• Document and track player progress throughout the season.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Needed:

• Strong understanding of basketball fundamentals and ability to teach them effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with players, parents, and staff.
• Ability to create age-appropriate practice plans that develop both individual and team skills.
• Strong leadership presence and ability to serve as a positive role model.
• Experience playing or coaching basketball at a competitive level (preferred).
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
