Description
The Youth Sports Coach is responsible for leading and supporting youth sports programs, organizing practices and game days, and fostering an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all participants, families, and fellow coaches. This role includes coaching during sports leagues and clinics, facilitating structured and engaging practices, overseeing afterschool sports programs, managing equipment, and ensuring a safe gym environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience coaching or playing sports, preferably in a youth setting.
- Knowledge of at least one sport, with the ability to learn and support additional sports as needed (e.g., basketball, volleyball, football, baseball, or soccer).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and fellow coaches.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to officiate games and support scorekeeping (training can be provided).
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive, and safe space for all participants.
Job Responsibilities:

- Maintain and organize sports equipment, ensuring accessibility and proper storage.
- Ensure all facilities are prepared for practices and games.
