Job Overview
SPECIFIC TASKS AND DUTIES:
- A commitment to a Christian lifestyle and coaching from a Christian perspective is essential.
- In coordination with Head Coach, facilitating a program culture of trust and teamwork.
- Adhering to all policies and procedures of NAIA, the SAC and WBU.
- Assisting in setting up and running practices.
- Facilitating a program and/or practices specific to the position.
- Administrating arrangements for scheduling use of facilities and vehicles through the Athletic Director and Executive Director of Property Management.
- Helping to coordinate the recruitment of student-athletes who have the ability and potential athletically and academically.
- Knowledge and understanding of women’s softball.
- Knowledge and understanding of pitching preferred.
- Strength and Conditioning background/experience preferred.
- Knowledge of specific skills and techniques.
- Continued learning and training mechanics, skills, and drills.
- Knowledge of NAIA and SAC regulations and guidelines governing the recruitment and retention of student-athletes.
