Job Overview

The Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach reports directly to the Head Coach and is responsible for assisting in the organization and administration of the Men’s Basketball program in accordance with the rules and regulations of the University, Ohio Valley Conference and NCAA with an emphasis on basketball operations and player development.

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Previous collegiate or professional coaching experience, or professional playing experience.
• Strong communication and organization skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree.
• 1+ years of collegiate experience as an NCAA Division I or II Assistant Coach or NCAA Division II or III, NAIA or NJCAA Head Coach experience, or professional playing experience.
• Evidence of strong organizational and communication skills. Current knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• A commitment to student-athlete welfare and academic success.
