Job Overview
The Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in all aspects of operating a collegiate volleyball program, including, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:
  • Coaching student-athletes at team practices, games and other events.
  • Identification, recruitment, eligibility and retention of current and prospective student-athletes.
  • Full compliance with NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Assist head coach in practice planning and macro/micro season planning
  • Public relations: Planning, coordination and execution of Alumni and fundraising events
  • Edit game film and & present to the team.
  • Administrative duties vital to day to day operations of the program.
  • Point person for summer volleyball camps.
  • Effectively work with co-workers, university personnel and student-athletes of diverse backgrounds and identities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in coaching: college, professional, elite youth club or 5 years high school head coaching.
  • Ability to effectively coach student-athletes of diverse backgrounds and identities.
  • First Aid and CPR certification or commitment to obtaining certification within 3 months of employment.
