Job Overview
Job Duties:
- The assistant coach is responsible for helping the Head Coach with organizing all aspects of the softball program, including practice and game preparation, recruitment of qualified student-athletes.
- Travel to away contests to assist the head coach with coaching responsibilities on the field.
- Abide by all USCAA, PSUAC and Penn State policies and procedures.
- Assistant Coach will need to motivate student-athletes as well as encourage high academic standards, leadership skills and manage the team’s commitment to NCAA and United East Conference regulations.
- Assistant Coach will need to have experience coaching intercollegiate softball.
- May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
