St. Michael the Archangel Catholic High School seeks a passionate and experienced Head Swim Coach to lead our boys' and girls' swimming programs. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering athletic excellence, personal growth, and faith-based values in student-athletes. The Head Swim Coach will be responsible for developing a competitive program while maintaining the highest standards of sportsmanship, integrity, and character. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of the high school swim program, including practices, meets, and team events.
• Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance athletes’ technical skills, endurance, and competitive performance.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture rooted in Catholic values, emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and personal growth.
• Supervise assistant coaches and collaborate with school administration to ensure the success of the program.
• Ensure student-athletes meet academic and eligibility requirements in accordance with school and league policies.
• Coordinate scheduling, transportation, and logistics for meets and training sessions.
• Promote sportsmanship, ethical conduct, and a strong work ethic among student-athletes.

Qualifications:

• Previous coaching experience at the high school or club level; head coaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of swimming techniques, training methods, and competition rules.
• CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and develop student-athletes both athletically and personally.
• Commitment to the mission and values of a Catholic school education.
