QUALIFICATIONS:
- College graduate and significant experience working with youth preferred.
- Prior successful experience preferred.
- Ability to motivate students towards team goals.
- Ability to work within the confines of the budget.
- Ability to successfully communicate with parents and community members.
- Ability to distribute and collect all school uniforms, equipment and other school property in an organized manner.
- Knowledge of the rules and regulations of Michigan High School Athletic Association as to competitions, eligibility, training and participation.
- Proven ability to work with all other coaches.
- Responsible for directing the High School Junior Varsity Baseball program.
- Responsible for the conduct of student-athletes at practice and games.
- Assists the athletic director in scheduling, budget, uniform inventory, and volunteer workers at events.
- Planning and organizing of facilities for home games and tournaments.
- Assumes responsibility for communicating with the press and league.
- Displays tact, courtesy, and good sportsmanship with students, parents, and community.
- Inspire a passion for the game at all levels.
