The Softball Coach shall be a born-again Christian gifted in athlete development and sportsmanship, who feels called of God to assist the Athletics Department in providing a quality experience to students attending PCS and committed to building a program of attraction for PCS athletes. Key Responsibilities:

• Help plan, organize, and conduct tryouts for the sport.
• Inform the Director of Athletics and participants of final selections and maintain the integrity of the selection process as well as effectively communicating final cuts, if applicable.
• Coach team during each contest.
• Develop appropriate training programs and coordinate the practice schedule with the Director of Athletics.
• Study the skills and abilities of each student-athlete on the team and puts them in position to be successful and contribute to the team success.
• Learn the names of the students and leaders the coach regularly works with.
• Maintain necessary records and completes required paperwork in a specified time and manner.
• Enforce discipline policies and emphasizes sportsmanship and healthy lifestyles.
