Job Overview
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide natural therapeutic setting-based physical therapy services to children ages birth to 3.
- Provide therapy services to improve gross motor development, address large motor concerns, and increase strength and muscle development.
- Provide therapy to assist with achievement of gross motor milestones at appropriate levels of development and ability.
- Assist with the use of adaptive equipment including orthotics.
- Perform early intervention assessments.
- Follow goals and outcomes from the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
- Graduate degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
- Physical Therapy license with New Jersey State Department of Law and Public Safety; Division of Consumer Affairs.
- Minimum 1 year working experience with individuals from birth to five years of age who have developmental delays and disabilities.
- Valid NJ Driver’s License with the ability to become and remain covered under the agency’s insurance policy.
