QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

1. Certified/Licensed Teacher preferred, consideration.
2. Experience in coaching High School Football preferred; Assistant Coaching Experience.
3. Personal experience playing the sport to be coached is desirable.
4. Certificate(s), licenses(s) or other legal credentials) required by CHSAA.
5. Safety training in the sport (can be completed once hired).
6. Successful experience in record keeping and inventory procedures.
7. Strong interpersonal communications skills.
8. Positive, human relations and communication skills with impressionable student athletes.
9. Philosophy which encourages positive student character, individual growth and teamwork.
10. Models sportsmanlike behavior at all times.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

1. Assignment starting for this position is negotiable, willing to combine teaching position with coaching.
2. All contracts/agreements for employment of personnel shall be subject to the approval of BOE.
3. Direct deposit of payroll is a condition of employment.
4. No smoking is allowed in any DT26J school buildings or facilities.
5. Selected applicant must comply with the District's Drug-Free Workplace policy.
6. As required by the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), the selected applicant must verify, within 72 hours of employment, his/her legal right to be employed in the United States.
