The Athletic Department at Keene State College is seeking applications for the Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach. This is a part-time, non-benefited position with appointment dates from August to June. Reporting to the Head Coach for Women’s Lacrosse, the successful candidate will assist with the administration and organization of a successful athletic program that competes in the Little East Conference at the NCAA Division III level.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparing, scheduling, and organizing of daily practice sessions, game preparation for competition and off-season training.
- Recruiting of prospective student-athletes in accordance with the NCAA, Little East Conference, and Keene State College policies and procedures.
- Promoting the program both on and off campus and complying with all NCAA Division III rules and regulations.
- Provide general advising, mentoring and support to student athletes, specifically in the realm of academics.
- Engaging in regular consultation with athletic training personnel to maximize the safety and wellness of student-athletes.
- Demonstrating concern for the overall welfare of student athletes at all times.
- Engaging in ethical decision-making and outstanding sportsmanship.
- Executing all these responsibilities in a manner that reflects an ongoing commitment to the excellence, integrity and success of the Women’s Lacrosse program, of the Department of Athletics, and Keene State College.
