Essential Job Functions:

1. Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school.
2. Act as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church.
3. Support and adhere to the Standards of Conduct and policies and procedures of the school.
4. Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters.
5. Conducts practice sessions and games according to local diocesan policy and league regulations.
6. Schedules practices and games in consultation with the athletic director.
7. Verifies student eligibility to practice and participate by completion of physicals, release/hold harmless, and registration.
8. Ensures that all volunteers are approved by the school.
9. Monitors the physical condition and fitness of participants and reports injuries to parents and school officials.
10. Continually monitors and supervises all activities of the participants at all practices and games.
11. Teaches essential safety skills and strategies to student athletes, monitors safety compliance.
12. Follows school and diocesan policies regarding academic eligibility, safety guidelines, and transportation rules
13. Distributes and collects all athletic equipment and uniforms.

Qualifications:

1. High school or equivalent.
2. Current CPR certification and first aid training.
3. Valid Texas Driver's License.
4. Must maintain compliance with the Diocese of Austin Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) policies throughout the employment period.
