Job Overview

To serve as the Head Women's Soccer coach. The head coach will be in charge of all aspects of the Women’s Soccer program, including recruitment of quality student athletes, retention, fundraising, conditioning programs, organizing and planning practices and game strategies, and assisting in scheduling contests and coordinating travel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Recruiting qualified student athletes within the intercollegiate athletic program to ensure compliance with the conference and national rules, establishing practice as well as holding practice sessions, scouting of opponents, preparing for, and coaching during games.
  2. Manage and report sports information through telephone and or written communication, including: releasing statistics, and results to the press as well as to conferences sites.
  3. Assist with planning and managing program budgets.
  4. Assist in schedule and coordinating athletic travel, transportation, and accommodations with the transportation coordinator.
  5. Assist in program’s meet schedule with the athletic director.
  6. Assist in game management for various athletic events.
  7. Distribution, cleaning, and collection of uniforms and equipment.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or a similar combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
  2. Valid driver’s license.
