The head wrestling coach at Oak Ridge High school is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive wrestling program, overseeing the athletes’ training and competition, and ensuring adherence to school and TSSAA regulations. 

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and organize effectice practice schedules and training plans tailored to enhance technical skills and physical conditioning.
2. Develop and implement competitive strategies to prepare the teamfor dual meets, tournaments, and championships.
3. Oversee all aspects of the team's participation in competitions ensuring smooth operations and adherence to schedules.
4. Manage the program budget as prescribed by the athletic director including equipment purchases, travel expenses, and other related costs.
5. Create and execute fundraising opportunities to assist in financing the program.
6. Maintain open and professional communication with athletes, parents, school staff, and school administrators.
7. Foster a positive, safe, and motivating environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and athlete well-being.

Qualifications:
