ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Develop and implement an organized and comprehensive girls' volleyball program.
2. Work collaboratively with other program coaches, parents, boosters and youth organizations.
3. Provide positive leadership while teaching and modeling good sportsmanship.
4. Provide adequate supervision and management of team members during practices and matches.
5. Use current best practices to teach and develop volleyball skills while maintaining student-athlete safety.
6. Report game results to Athletic Director and local media outlets.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. High School diploma or GED.
2. Prior Varsity head coaching experience preferred.
3. Current CPR/AED certification, or ability to attain.
4. Current Sports First Aid Certification, or ability to attain.
5. State of Maine Department of Education background check (CHRC) authorization.
