Job Overview

Essential Functions:


  1. Assist and communicate with the head coach to plan, develop and promote a highly competitive NCAA Division I program.
  2. Assist the head coach in organizing and implementing practice and training procedures for the development and improvement of individuals and team skills.
  3. Successfully identity, select and recruit prospective student-athletes who display the athletic and academic talents and ability to successfully compete in the MAC and BGSU.
  4. Display knowledge and adhere to all rules and regulations, pertaining to the sport as established by the NCAA, MAC, and the University.
  5. Complete and report in a timely fashion, all Department, University, and Conference administrative information, as well as academic, recruiting and financial information.
  6. Assist in the development and implementation of fundraising activities.
  7. Assist with the planning and execution of camps and clinic.
  8. Monitor budget expenditures to assure fiscal responsibility.
  9. Attend required department meetings.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

  5. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
  6. Ability to handle administrative paper work.

  9. Ability to relate to a wide variety of people with broad backgrounds and experiences.
  10. Insurable to drive a vehicle for the University.
