
The position responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting efforts related to the communications and fan engagement operations of the department. The position will serve as a primary media contact for multiple sports and assist with statistics inputting, press releases, social media promotion, and other day-to-day athletic communication functions. The position will also assist the with implementation of in game promotions, activation of corporate partnerships, game script writing and videoboard operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred).
- 1-3 years of athletic administration experience at the collegiate level preferred.
- A working knowledge of hosting NCAA championships and/or other major sports events is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues, student-athletes, and administrators.
