SUNY Adirondack is seeking an Assistant Coach to help support the Timberwolves Women’s Basketball program. Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to principles of academic and athletic integrity. This position is responsible for bolstering a women’s basketball program for student-athletes which includes recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and training athletes who are highly skilled in their sport while pursuing the department’s goals of developing individuals who are athletically, academically, and personally successful.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Successfully implementing a recruiting/retention plan.
2. Executing practice and training plan.
3. Supporting student-athlete success, academically and athletically.
4. Attends all home and away events.
5. Recording and submitting game statistics.

Required Skills:

1. Prior Coaching, Recruiting and Playing Experience Preferred.
2. Must have Organizational, Management and Teamwork Skills.
3. Must have Administrative and Computer Skills.
4. Must have Interpersonal Communication Skills.
5. Must have a Willingness and Desire to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
