The Assistant Softball Coach assists with the organization and supervision of all aspects of the Softball team within the parameters designated by the university, the America East Conference and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

Responsibilities:

1. Organizing, recruitment, evaluation of student-athletes.
2. Conducting and supervising practices and player conditioning.
3. Accumulate information to comprise scouting reports on future opponents.
4. Assist with the preparation and implementation of game strategies.
5. Breakdown and analysis of individual film.
6. Providing appropriate leadership, direction and supervision relevant to the academic progress and personal development of student-athletes.
7. Creating a positive and productive environment for the student-athletes.

Qualifications:

1. 1-3 years softball coaching and recruiting experience at NCAA collegiate level.
2. Demonstrated knowledge and application of NCAA rules and regulations.
3. Knowledge of techniques and strategies of the sport.
4. Commitment to high ethical standards and academics success.
5. Experience working effectively in diverse environments.
6. Strong organizational skills.
