Job Overview
Under supervision of the Head Women’s Soccer Coach, provide assistance in the leadership of all coaching, recruiting, and administrative duties for a nationally competitive Division III women’s soccer program. Individual reports to the Head Women’s Soccer Coach. Secondary duty to be assigned and will report to the Deputy AD (or designee) in that area.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist in organizing, preparing and conducting practices, training, and competitions;
- Develop and implement in-season and out-of-season training programs for Centre Women’s Soccer student-athletes, to including sport specific training and coordinating with the Sport Performance staff;
- Successfully recruit student-athletes in accordance with all Centre College, Southern Athletic Association, and NCAA rules and regulations;
- While assisting in leading, monitoring, and coordinating training and practice sessions, ensure all appropriate safety guidelines are followed;
- Oversee successful implementation and analysis of the data and technology piece of Centre Women’s Soccer using VEO, HUDL and any other soccer specific technology to better the program;
- Game day duties to include assist with setting up the field, working with GK’s, and making sure rosters and VEO are ready;
- Assist with the holistic development of soccer student-athletes;
- Represent the program and the College to students, parents, alumni, and the general public;
- Assist in managing the daily operations and administration facets of the soccer program – including but not limited too – recruiting, field set-up, and equipment management;
- Actively participate in department-wide fundraisers.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with previous collegiate experience required; previous collegiate soccer coaching experience preferred.
- CPR, AED, and First-Aid certifications will be required prior to September 1, 2025;
- Valid driver’s license required prior to employment – and maintained throughout.
