Job Overview

Responsibilities:

  1. Coach adults in a recreational swimming league.
  2. Coach 2-4 hours weekly.
  3. Be the inspirational leader of the each swimming group to ensure the highest level of member engagement.
  4. Create practice plans.
  5. Be involved in an ongoing program and evaluation process to determine the relevancy of existing programs and the development of new offerings.
  6. Communicate with participants via email and phone call.
  7. Lead marketing efforts to grow the program such as attending other programmatic events or visiting other programs within the building to share our Swim Programs.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  1. American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification OR American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certification AND CPR/AED/First Aid for Infant/Child/Adult.
  2. United States Master Swimming (USMS) Membership.
