Bridgewater College, a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III, is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach, to begin immediately. This is a part-time position, reporting to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. 
   Assisting the head coach in all facets of a Division III men’s basketball program
2. Recruiting prospective student-athletes who fit the mission and culture of the program and the College
3. Conducting on-court coaching during practices and games
4. Developing detailed scouting reports for game opponents
5. Providing mentoring and support for the student-athletes, particularly in regard to academics and player development
6. Complying with all NCAA, conference and college policies and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
2. Prior collegiate coaching experience and/or competitive collegiate playing experience required.
3. Basic competency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
4. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the college’s auto insurance carrier.
