Entrepreneur High School San Bernardino is seeking a dedicated and experienced Girls High School Head Varsity Volleyball Coach to lead our varsity team for the upcoming season. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and developing student-athletes to achieve their highest potential both on and off the field/court. The Head Coach will be expected to create a positive and inclusive team environment that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Plan, organize, and conduct regular team practices, conditioning sessions, and games.
2. Develop and implement effective game strategies and plans to enhance team performance.
3. Foster a positive team culture that promotes mutual respect, discipline, and sportsmanship.
4. Provide mentorship and guidance to student-athletes, focusing on their academic, athletic, and personal development.
5. Monitor and ensure student-athletes' compliance with school and athletic policies, including academic eligibility requirements.
6. Coordinate and communicate with assistant coaches, athletic trainers, and school administration.
7. Maintain accurate records of team statistics, individual performance, and other relevant data.
8. Organize and oversee team activities, including travel arrangements, equipment management, and fundraising efforts.
9. Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and the community regarding team activities, schedules, and achievements.
10. Adhere to all school district policies and procedures as well as state athletic regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Previous coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level, preferably as a head or assistant coach.
2. Strong knowledge of the sport, including rules, strategies, and techniques.
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
4. Ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, and school staff.
5. Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive team environment.
6. CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
7. Valid coaching certification or willingness to obtain one prior to the start of the season (as required by the state or school district).
