RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible to the Athletic Director/Coordinator and the Head Coach.
2. Must be able to attend all after school practices, games, tournaments, meetings, etc.
3. Must be able to drive district van to transport participants.
4. Cooperation by the assistant coaches of each sport with the head coach, athletic director, and the principal in performing the duties related to the school athletic program.
5. Assure that players under his/her jurisdiction understand the training rule policy. The signed parental permission form shall be in the hands of the coach or athletic office prior to an athlete beginning practice. All parental forms are to be returned to the athletic director.
6. Support the head coach in conducting the athletic program of that particular sport and total athletic program of the school district.
7. Remain loyal to the head coach and to the team. He/she may have to give up some of his /her own thoughts regarding team strategy, etc. to fit into the overall pattern as set forth by the head coach.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Current First Aid/CPR card required.
2. Current Type II driver's license required.
3. Previous high school experience preferred.
