The Varsity Head Coach is responsible for all the Athletes who participate in the Lacrosse program. The coach must demonstrate strong leadership in player development, sportsmanship, integrity and character development. Qualified candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Foster among the participants and spectators an appreciation of the values of athletics, a desire to perform at the highest level, an attitude of good sportsmanship, and a sense of pride in self, team, school, and community.
2. Support the training, conditioning, and performance of the Lacrosse program.
3. Emphasize the importance of academic excellence and assist in monitoring and maintaining high academic standards for members of the Lacrosse program.
4. Work cooperatively with other athletic coaches in order to operate a well-balanced athletic program.
5. Engage with the parents of the members of the Lacrosse program in a positive and constructive manner.
6. Perform other duties related to the position of athletic coach as requested by the high school principal and/or athletic director.

Experience:

1. Past experience coaching Lacrosse to the youth (preferred).
2. Past experience playing at the high school level or above (preferred).
