MaineGeneral HomeCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our HomeCare team in Waterville, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity for a PT who values meaningful, independent work and wants to make a lasting impact in the community.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct initial and follow-up assessments to evaluate patients in their home setting.
- Create and implement individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Document patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Instruct patients and caregivers on therapy goals, exercises, and equipment.
- Work closely with nurses, social workers, and other clinicians to ensure coordinated care.
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in accordance with state regulations.
Qualifications
- Current (or eligible) Maine licensure from the Board of Examiners in Physical Therapy.
- At least 1 year of professional experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Valid Maine driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment in a home setting.
