Pediatric Physical Therapist who evaluates and treats patients, birth through 21 years of age, in an outpatient nonprofit pediatric clinical setting, by provision of both in person and teletherapy services for a variety of motor deficits, neurodevelopmental delays, neuromuscular and orthopedic impairments.

Essential Duties:

1. Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations for pediatric patients evaluating mobility, strength,
   current level of patient function and more while setting goals to improve in these areas that are scaled to patient
   abilities according to industry standards and evidence based practice.
2. Develop Plan of Care for each patient based on initial and ongoing evaluations including short and long term
   goals, models of practice, collaboration with of other staff members, and required patient and caregiver
   involvement.
3. Implement Plan of Care through direct treatment on a consistent schedule and adjust this schedule and plan
   according to patient progress.
4. Document patient progress according to approved medical documentation standards.
5. Report patient progress to patient, patient caregivers and loved ones, facility staff and healthcare professionals
   involved in ongoing treatment/care of patients.
6. Recommend an appropriate discharge plan for patients following completion of their Plan of Treatment.
7. Maintain professional and technical knowledge through attending educational workshops; reviewing professional
   publications, etc.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

1. Knowledge of neurological and musculoskeletal diseases.
2. Knowledge of rehabilitative treatment techniques as utilized by the generalist in treating multiple
   age groups.
3. Knowledge of orthopedic manual therapy techniques.
4. Knowledge of the regulations and practice standards of Pediatric Physical Therapy.
5. Knowledge of direct patient care of Physical Therapy to pediatric patients.
6. Knowledge and skill of equipment and instruments used in daily activities, responsible use of such
   equipment and best practices for equipment use.
7. Skill in treating Pediatric Physical Therapy patients and exercising critical thinking & clinical
   reasoning with this population.
8. Skill in time management such as assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands.
9. Knowledge of Joint Commission accreditation process and requirements, as well as all federal, state
   and local regulations and standards associated with the delivery of care in a Federally Qualified
10. Health Center.
