Job Overview
Responsibilities:
- Provides supervision for Physical Therapy Assistants, PMR technicians, students and volunteers as required.
- Maintains safe/orderly working environment for patients and staff.
- Adheres to the code of ethics of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Practice Act of the Commonwealth of PA.
- Develops a comprehensive plan of care and provides treatment with appropriate and effective techniques to achieve established goals with an emphasis on functional status
- Assumes accountability for managing the delivery of patient care.
- Interprets and utilizes clinical data in the treatment plan.
- Prioritizes and organizes work assignment and adjust priorities based on changing situations.
- Consistently assesses and modifies approach, communication, care, activities, etc. to reflect the needs of patient based on age, cultural diversity and developmental level.
- Acts as a patient advocate and uphold patients’ rights.
- Participates in program development activities, as assigned, and under the direction of the Lead/ Manager.
- Performs as a Clinical instructor when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Current State PT license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Bachelor's Degree.
