The Inwood Academy Athletics Coach is a member of the Inwood Academy Athletic Department on a part-time schedule. The primary focus is ensuring the student-athletes are provided the best athletic experience possible. The athletics coach is responsible for instructing, leading, and preparing the student-athletes for interscholastic competition. Interscholastic competition is education based so coaches should place preference on academic success combined with athletic achievement. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teaching relevant skills, tactics, and techniques.
• Monitoring and enhancing performance by providing encouragement and constructive feedback.
• Identifying strengths and weaknesses.
• Developing training/practice programs.
• Undertaking administrative tasks.
• Manage inventory and storage of uniforms and equipment.
• Attend all games (make accommodations to meet schedule changes).
• Creating accountability towards athletic policies.
• Academics, attendance, behavioral.
• Maintaining all other coaching responsibilities that arise during the season.
