Core Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Varsity Boys Basketball program, fostering a culture of teamwork, sportsmanship, and Christ-like character.
- Oversee the development of players from 7th to 12th grade, ensuring a consistent and progressive program across all levels.
- Implement effective practice plans, game strategies, and player development programs that maximize individual and team potential.
- Manage all aspects of the Varsity team, including scheduling, equipment, and communication with players and parents.
- Actively mentor and disciple student-athletes, integrating Christian values into the basketball program.
- Build strong, positive relationships with players, fostering a supportive and encouraging environment.
- Serve as a positive role model, demonstrating integrity and a commitment to personal growth.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of proven high school or collegiate coaching experience.
- Proven track record of developing players and maximizing talent.
- Strong understanding of basketball fundamentals, strategies, and techniques.
- Ability to effectively communicate and motivate players.
- College degree preferred.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school administration.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
