We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our athletic department as an Assistant Athletics Trainer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our student-athletes and help them reach their full potential on and off the field. As an Assistant Athletics Trainer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our athletes, providing them with the best care and support possible. Assist in the prevention, evaluation, and treatment of athletic injuries.
Collaborate with coaches, athletic trainers, and medical staff to develop and implement injury prevention and treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all student-athletes.
Communicate effectively with student-athletes, coaches, and medical staff regarding injury status and treatment plans.
Educate student-athletes on injury prevention, nutrition, and other aspects of sports medicine.
Attend all practices, games, and team events to provide medical coverage and support.
Assist in the maintenance and inventory of athletic training equipment and supplies.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the health and well-being of student-athletes.
Stay up-to-date on current trends and developments in sports medicine and attend relevant conferences and workshops.
Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes and uphold the values and standards of the university and athletic department.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment within the athletic department.
Uphold the confidentiality of medical information and maintain the privacy of student-athletes.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer or Athletic Director.
