Assistant Football Coach – Junior Varsity

**Overview:** High Point Central is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Football Coach to lead our Junior Varsity Football team during the Fall 2026 season. As we prepare for the return of our Varsity Football team in 2027, we are looking for a coach who can help develop our young athletes and foster a positive team culture. **Responsibilities:**
* Assist the Head Coach in planning and implementing team practices and game strategies
* Develop and implement individual player skill development plans
* Lead and supervise the Junior Varsity Football team during games and practices
* Recruit and manage team volunteers and support staff
* Collaborate with other coaches and school administrators to ensure a positive and supportive team environment
**Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
* Coaching experience in football at the high school or college level
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
* First aid and CPR certification preferred
