## Key Role Overview

This role assesses, treats, and rehabilitates athletic injuries under the guidance of a licensed physician, contributing to the planning and implementation of treatment and prevention programs for patients and student groups. The Athletic Trainer coordinates sports medicine and rehabilitation services, ensuring ordered procedures, treatments, and documentation are completed, and provides coverage for athletic, community, and outreach events.

– Contribute to planning and implementing treatment and prevention programs for patients and student groups.

– Coordinate and provide sports medicine and rehabilitation services, ensuring procedures, treatments, and documentation are completed.

– Provide athletic training services and event coverage for athletic, community, and outreach events.

## What are the Required Qualifications?

– Master’s Degree in athletic training from an accredited academic program, or a Bachelor’s Degree in athletic training prior to 2023.

– 0-3 years of relevant experience (minimum 0 years required).

– Indiana State Athletic Training Licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.

– Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainer.

– AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross Professional Rescuer certification.
