We focus on sport performance, functional fitness, injury-prevention, and long-term athletic development. Position Summary

We’re hiring two full-time Community Marketing & Operations Coordinators who will combine marketing, community outreach, and administrative leadership to grow our membership, increase community engagement, and keep daily operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on, go-getter role for energetic, organized professionals who are as comfortable designing promotional assets and leading school/business outreach as they are managing procedures and supporting the General Manager.

Hours: Full-time (typically 40 hours per week; includes some evenings/weekends for outreach or events)

Reports to: General Manager

Key Responsibilities

Community Outreach & Sales Support (40%)

– Build and maintain relationships with local schools, coaches, club programs, local businesses, and community organizations.

– Present programs to schools, boosters, youth clubs, and businesses; coordinate trial days, informational sessions, and group discounts.

– Conduct outreach campaigns (email, phone, in-person visits) to generate referrals and partnerships.

– Represent the center professionally at community events, fairs, and partner meetings.

Marketing & Creative (25%)

– Create eye-catching marketing assets: flyers, posters, social graphics, email headers, digital ads, and print materials. Maintain brand consistency across channels.

– Manage social media content calendars, create and schedule posts, and assist with paid ad setup/monitoring.

– Write clear, persuasive copy for promotions, emails, newsletters, and web updates.

– Photograph and/or short-form video athletes, workouts, and events; perform basic editing for social and marketing use.

– Track basic marketing metrics (engagement, lead volume) and report results to GM.

Operations & Administration (25%)

– Serve as the GM’s full-time assistant: manage calendars, schedule meetings, prepare agendas, follow up on action items, and coordinate internal communications.

– Oversee daily administrative operations: membership onboarding, client scheduling support, intake forms, waivers, billing coordination, and record-keeping.

– Maintain and improve operational procedures and checklists (staff onboarding, safety protocols, facility opening/closing).

– Coordinate supplies, vendor relationships, and facility maintenance requests.

Customer Service & Teamwork (10%)

– Deliver excellent customer service to members, prospects, and parents — friendly, professional, and efficient.

– Support coaches and staff with program logistics, athlete communications, and class coordination.

– Assist with event planning and on-the-ground execution (competitions, showcases, assessment days).

Qualifications & Skills

– 2+ years’ experience in marketing, community outreach, operations, or related roles (fitness industry experience a plus).

– Strong graphic design skills — proficient with Canva and at least one Adobe product (Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent.

– Confident public speaker; comfortable presenting to school groups, parents, and business leaders.

– Excellent written and verbal communication.

– Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.

– Strong administrative skills: calendar management, basic accounting/billing familiarity, CRM/management system experience (e.g., Mindbody) preferred.

– Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace and social media platforms.

– Able to photograph/video and perform light editing (smartphone-level or DSLR familiarity).

– Positive, energetic, and proactive — a self-starter who takes initiative.

– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for outreach.

Nice-to-Haves

– Experience working with youth sports programs, schools, or athletic organizations.

– Experience with paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads Manager).

– CPR/First Aid or USAW/NSCA or other fitness-related certifications.

Interview Process

Skills Task (to be completed during the interview)

-Design a Promotional Flyer: Using a provided template, create a one-page promotional flyer for an upcoming fitness event or program at our center. You will have 30 minutes. Use any graphic assets you feel are necessary (logos, images), which we will provide.

– Outreach Pitch: Prepare a 3-minute presentation for a local school’s athletic director about our training programs and how they can benefit their athletes. Focus on key benefits, partnership opportunities, and potential impact on community engagement. Following your pitch, be ready for Q&A.

Metrics for Success (first 90 days)

– Create and launch a local outreach plan; secure at least 4 school/business partnerships or scheduled presentations.

– Produce a consistent weekly social content schedule and grow engagement by 20% and increase followers to 1,000.

– Implement or refine operational checklists and reduce administrative errors/delays by 25%.

– Demonstrate reliable support as GM’s assistant (calendar management, timely follow-ups, organized documentation).

Pay: $16.00 – $24.00 per hour
