Compensation and Benefits
Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: Salary up to $7,658/month
Full CSU Classification Salary Range: $6,288 – $7,658
This is a full-time, probationary, non-exempt position. The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 15 paid holidays a year. Job Summary The assistant coach is responsible for assisting in the evaluation, recruitment, training, and coaching of student-athletes to compete successfully against the highest level of NCAA intercollegiate competition in a quality sports program.
The Assistant
Coach is held directly accountable for the following general responsibilities related to the assigned sports program: assisting with the overall management and administration of the program, ensuring compliance with the program’s budget, and recruiting, training, and evaluating student-athletes, as assigned by the Head Coach.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution
Experience coaching football at the D1/FBS collegiate level, in the NFL, or other professional football league.
Must be immediately eligible to obtain a State of California driver’s license and must be able to comply with all university requirements pertaining to driving on university business. A background check of the candidate’s driving record will be required Deadline & Application Instructions
