Graduate Assistant – Diving

Vermillion, South Dakota, The University of South Dakota is seeking applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Diving Coach. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting with the coaching and development of the diving program, planning and conducting daily practices, technique instruction, recruiting qualified student-athletes, coordinating team travel, and supporting fundraising initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Swimming & Diving Coach to support all aspects of the program. Bachelor’s degree required and full admission into a graduate program at the University of South Dakota. Candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of diving techniques, as well as excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Preference will be given to candidates with prior competitive diving and/or coaching experience. The ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and travel is essential. Graduate Assistant positions include reduced tuition and a stipend.
