Head Men’s Basketball Coach

Virginia University of Lynchburg, a member of the NCCAA, invites applications for the position of Head Men’s Basketball Coach. This position includes a stipend. Opportunities for on campus employment may be available.

Responsibilities
• Serves as a representative of the University, promoting VUL’s mission, image and goals to colleagues and the community.
• Responsible for all aspects of the program including recruiting, monitoring academic progress, fundraising, scheduling, and all other functions involved with leading a highly regarded intercollegiate basketball program.
• Abide by all regulations, policies, and procedures of the NCCAA and Virginia University of Lynchburg.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of two years of coaching experience at the collegiate level
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Ability to work with and facilitate the success of a diverse student population
• Available for flexible hours, including nights and weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $1.00 per year
