Description

The Women’s Head Flag Football Coach is responsible for all phases of building and maintaining a successful women’s intercollegiate golf program. This includes the preparation of the team for competition, monitoring the academic progress and success of the student athletes, and recruiting quality student athletes to participate in the program. This is a part-time seasonal position.

Recruitment of potential student-athletesPractice preparationIn and out of season trainingGame/match day managementRetention of quality student-athletesEnsures the success and safety of student athletes on and off the fieldMonitors team members’ academic progress and performance and makes referrals to the appropriate College departments to enhance students’ academic success.Assists with all facets of athlete eligibility certification Responsible for the safe transportation of team members to and from away contestsAdheres to all NJCAA, Region 19, RCSJ, and Athletic Department rules and regulationsResponsible for fundraising and development of alumni and community relationsPossesses the ability to be a team player within the Athletics Department and the CollegePerforms other duties, as assignedMinimum Qualifications

Past playing and/or coaching experience in the sport of flag football is required.Associate degree requiredValid driver’s license, which is currently in good standingAbility to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysPossess the ability to work well and communicate effectively with prospective and current students, staff, faculty, administration, colleagues, and community partnersSupplemental InformationCOVID-19 vaccination is a requirement for all positions at Rowan College of South Jersey.
